The sun, as it is said well of God, is no respecter of persons and thus shines on all equally. So it is and thus my eyes see the sun shining down upon everything, but that being so I as well observe that not all is illumined, at least from my current perspective. Some are shaded by an object blocking light from above. Some objects are dense and dull hardly reflecting the energy of the great sun, and others reflect this energy out again. On this fall day, I am observing a tree allowing the light of the sun to filter through radiating with the intensity of color and brilliance that only one whom has so allowed this great light to penetrate and flow through their being can achieve. This is my desire, to be such a glowing being. Dear Lord, help be to let Your Light shine through as only you can do.
