You see we hardly listen to what others yearn to say. All this “physical business” of the color of skin and style of hair gets in the way. But it happens as well in our more personal realm. We really hardly ever hear what another heart yearns to share.
It is fear, I believe, that holds our hearts apart. Fear is the jail. Fear is the steel bars. We each seem to know what we know and would rather not hear anything which might interfere.
