Peace Everlasting

Beyond the battle,
the battle of the mind,
there lies within
a Sacred Place of Peace,
the eye of calmness
within the very center.
The storm stirs around
in a tumultuous whirlwind
and yet this very Center Point
remains still and unaffected,
observing all the endless action
that circles around,
the noise, the confusion,
and the fury
and yet here remains
a Constant
amid all that is constant change
and upheaval,
the Constance
of Peace Everlasting.
