Pyromaniac: One whom enjoys setting things afire. What can be set afire? Things of the world. Only the material can be burned and thus burned away. Yes, gaseous matter is still matter. It seems there are many among you who would proudly bear the title of pyromaniac, for they are those who delight in setting fires of fear upon the earth. Such great and grand fires that much attention they draw. Many draw near as the tall dancing flames enchant the eye and as they draw near, they fear. Could this fire be the very Hell of which man tells tale tales? Why do so many gather around in such great heat and despair? Why do they stay in this uncomfortable place? Does safety in numbers mean anything to you? What about the idea that man only knows what he sees? And of course he only sees what he looks for. You do not have to stay by the fire of fear and keep it burning. It is not your destiny to walk the earth looking for broken twigs here and there to toss into this fire to keep it a roar. One always has a choice to walk away. First by turning your head, looking in a new direction and then walking a new way. You may feel at first that you are walking alone for you see no trail. You just keeping moving toward comfort, toward what feels better and then better. Let your instincts guide you to higher ground. And as you rise to this higher ground, this elevated plane of existence, you will begin to notice others have arrived and are arriving just as you. Together and separately you search and find clues. Like breadcrumbs left, perhaps generations ago, by others who have been on the same path. These breadcrumbs lead to yet a higher plane. And as you journey toward this great feeling place of great safety and comfort you will gain peace with every step. The smoke will clear, the smoke from the fire of fear which had enshrouded you and clouded your vision. Excerpted from the book Listen Hear, A Divine Love Story by Debra Clemente |

"Aspen Drive" an oil painting by Debra Clemente There are many paths to the same mountain top, the apex of life. How can this be you ask? From many directions you came all calling My Name. I answer to all for all is “One.” There is no other. It has been this way since time began. Scattered you are across the land I still hold each one of you in my hand. Come as you are from where you are. Excerpted from the book Listen Hear, A Divine Love Story by Debra Clemente |
