Claiming Your Higher Good

At one time many believed that to live a “Godly life” one of holy purity they had to barricade themselves physically from the world. They saw this as the only way. They saw the material world and all in it as evil “out to get them” and tempt and trick them into false notions.

Yes, the material world is a trap for egos but Godly men and women walk the earth today through the fire of hell without so much as a burn. Why and how? Because there is so much to Love in this world, so much good to notice and share and someone has to stand and walk the course to lead the others through to the safety of God’s Hand.

Think of Jesus Christ. Did He run and hide from sinners? Did He for a moment feel threatened by their actions? Would He or could He have so served the world if He had holed away and hid His Light? No, He had to walk among the people and show them that He was one of them that could walk through the fire unharmed, or as it was, walk on water and not sink. How was it that Jesus was so unaffected by the world? It was because He was so affected by God the Father, so totally affected that God’s holy nature made him into a reflection of God himself in word and deed.

This is for all, not just one, for all to become, a grand possibility waiting to be sought, waiting to be claimed. This life changing force is the force of life itself. Love replaces fear. Love replaces judgment. Fire can be walked through. Water can be walked on. Renouncing the world does not mean hiding from it. It means claiming your higher Good, which makes one above it all.
